Founded in 1984 as DM Habens and later evolving into a private limited company in 1998, we’ve come a long way.
Over the years, we've worked hard to expand our capabilities and improve our services.
In 2006, the appointment of Brian & Liam Way as directors brought a fresh vision and dynamic leadership to the company. Their guidance and expertise played a crucial role in shaping the direction of the business, driving it to new heights and turning our company into the thriving, productive business it is today.
Brian Way
Managing Director

Brian joined DM Habens in 1997 as a project manager before taking over the company and becoming managing director in 2006.
With over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, Brian’s wealth of industry knowledge and passion ensures he delivers quality and cost-effective projects within the client’s timescale. Having achieved his level NEBOSH qualification, Brian overseas all Health and Safety within the company, regularly visiting our building sites and liaising with our health and safety consultants.
Liam Way
Finance Director

Liam joined Habens in 2002 and has since developed the business from strength to strength.
Alongside Brian, Liam is responsible for our Business development, marketing, team infrastructure, company procedures and customer service for which he always strives to deliver perfection. Liam works closely with our Operations Director Vishal and our projects team to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

From securing high-quality materials at the best value to managing payments and financial reporting, they ensure cost efficiency and transparency across all our projects.

Project Support Team
Our Project Support Team provides essential support throughout every stage of our construction projects, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
They assist with pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), construction phase plans, health and safety manuals, compliance documentation, and on-site social value initiatives. Working closely with our operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners, they help keep projects organised, compliant, and running smoothly from start to finish.

Compliance Support Team
The Compliance Support Team ensures that all projects meet legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
From health and safety accreditations and environmental considerations, they provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance throughout the business.
