Welcoming Our New Apprentices

13/08/26, 08:45

We’re pleased to welcome Jamie, Jake and Alfie to the Habens team as our latest apprentices, while also celebrating an exciting achievement for one of our existing apprentices.

Welcome to the Team, Jamie, Jake and Alfie!

A warm welcome to Jamie, who has joined us as our new Administration Apprentice, covering Daniela’s maternity leave. Jamie will be supporting our office team across a range of administrative tasks while gaining valuable experience and working towards their apprenticeship qualification.

We’re also pleased to welcome Jake, who has joined us as a Quantity Surveyor Apprentice. Jake will be developing his knowledge of quantity surveying, commercial management and construction alongside our experienced team.

Joining us on site is Alfie, our new Bricklayer Apprentice. Alfie will be developing his practical skills and gaining hands-on experience working alongside our site teams across DM Habens projects.

From Apprentice to Quantity Surveyor

We’re also incredibly pleased to celebrate the progress of our existing Construction Support Technician Apprentice, Alfie, who has successfully completed his apprenticeship.

Following his success, Alfie will now be progressing onto a Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship with the University of Portsmouth, continuing his development with Habens alongside fellow Quantity Surveyor Apprentices Jake and Freddie.

It’s fantastic to see apprentices progressing through the business and taking the next step in their careers with us.

Investing in the Future

With these new additions, we now have seven apprentices across the DM Habens team, working across a range of roles and disciplines.

Apprenticeships are an important part of our commitment to developing the next generation of talent. By combining formal qualifications with hands-on experience, we’re proud to give our apprentices the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, build their skills and develop long-term careers within the construction industry.

We’re looking forward to supporting Jamie, Jake and Alfie throughout their apprenticeships and continuing to watch all seven of our apprentices progress.
